Kazuri fair trade jewellery was founded in 1975 in Kenya to give local women, many of them single mothers, an income. All the beads are hand made from natural clay, painted, kiln fired, glazed and then fired again before being made into the beautiful jewellery. Every piece is unique and many of the designs are named after the women who inspired them, local areas and features or tribes.
